Catherine Medzela 91 of Victoria Gardens Blvd. Port Orange died Wednesday July 14 at the Port Orange Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Medzela was born in Ambridge PA and retired as a hairdresser in 1965. She moved to this area in 1979 from The Bronx N.Y. and had an avid love of swimming.
Mrs. Medzela was the beloved wife of the late Jack Medzela who passed in 1987. She is survived by her niece Eleanor Silva who provided for her care as well as many other nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law Lena Botor. Cremation services will be private.
