Catherine Kimberlin Martin, 71, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her home in Deltona FL.

Catherine was born on March 6, 1948 in Alleghany County VA to James Samuel and Zeta Mae Kimberlin.  She and Chip had been living in Florida since 2009.  She is survived by her husband, Robert "Chip" Martin, of 51 years and a daughter, Kim (Brad), of Deltona FL.  She is also survived by 5 grandchildren – Rylen, Conner, Scottie, Jason, Katlen (Cole), Christian – and 2 great-grandchildren – Lillee and Bella.  She also leaves behind her sweet dog Charlie and kitties Milo and Alley.  She is survived by sisters and spouses Nancy Clark, Joyce Drumheller (Bill), and Vicki Masters (Eric).  She was preceded in death by her father in 1972; mother in 2000; sister, Dorothy Viuad, in 2007; a niece, Stephanie, in 1999; and nephew, B.W., in 2015.

Catherine attended Alleghany County High School in Virginia.  Before retirement, she was an Administrative Assistant for the Roanoke County School System in Virginia.

Catherine's most favorite hobby and interest was her grandkids and family.  She also enjoyed relaxing by the pool, camping, and card games with family and friends.

She has been an active church member her entire life.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 6, from 5 to 8pm at Lohman's Funeral Home in Deltona FL.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 7, at 11:00am also at Lohman's Funeral Home.  The body will be cremated at a later date.

Memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society.
