Catherine B. Gegenheimer 93 of Port Orange peacefully passed away on December 1 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Roy. Catherine retired as an administrative assistant for the US Government at the Picatinny Arsenal in NJ.
Catherine and Roy moved to the Daytona Beach area from Dover NJ. They lived in Colonial Colony South for almost 40 years.
Catherine was an active member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She served on the Newcomers Club was a Sociable Senior and a Sunshine Lady.
Catherine is survived by her nephews Thomas (Annandale VA) Terry (Bushnell FL) and Jeff Pasko (Nobleton FL); and loving nieces Sandra Kurz (Ephrata PA) and Catherine Meyers (Cape May N.J.) Her Celebration of Life Mass will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 4675 South Clyde Morris Boulevard Port Orange on Wednesday December 14 2011 at 8:30am.
