Catherine S. Baldwin 73 of Port Orange passed away on Wednesday September 14th 2011. A visitation will be held at Baggett and Summers Funeral Home 736 S. Beach St. today Friday September 16th 2011 from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday September 17th 2011 at 11am with burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.

Catherine was born in Meadville Pennsylvania on August 3rd 1938. Her family relocated to the Daytona Beach area in 1952. Catherine was a graduate of Mainland High School and a member of the 1955 graduating class. Following High School Catherine worked for General Electric. She and her husband Robert relocated to Ashville North Carolina where she retired form Eaton Cutler- Hammer where she was the Human Resource Manager. After her retirement Catherine returned to Daytona Beach to be with family. She was a devoted wife loving mother and wonderful friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 49 years Robert L. Baldwin children Harry L. Sperry Robert L. Baldwin Jr Debra Sperry Berg Joseph A. Simmons and George V. Simmons. She also leaves behind siblings Russell Simonetta Darlene R. Betsill grandchildren Harry Sperry Jr. Joseph Sperry Robert Sperry John Bennett Steven Bennett Hollie Davies Skylar Baldwin Troy V. Simmons Jacob Simmons Kyle Simmons Owen Simmons Justin Simmons six great grandchildren many nieces nephews and extended family members and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Simonetta and Dorothy Baker and Brothers Henry and Robert Simonetta.
