A Memorial Service for Carroll Dennison Parsons Jr. age 81 of James Street in South Daytona Florida will be held Saturday April 15 2006 at the Baggett & Summers Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Thomas Miller officiating. Family will receive friends and family at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home from 2:00 PM ? 4:00 PM.
Mr. Parsons passed away at the Indigo Manor Nursing Home in Daytona Beach on Tuesday April 4 2006. Born on the 4th of July in Gloucester Massachusetts Mr. Parsons spent many years fishing and being on the water. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard serving during World War II.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Elizabeth Lois two daughters Carol Elizabeth Bostel and her husband John Henry Bostel of Cocoa Beach FL Paula Denise Weiss and her husband Christopher Scott Weiss of Theresa NY and one son David Bruce Parsons of South Daytona FL. Also surviving Mr. Parsons are five grandchildren Steven John and Nathen Carroll Bostel Shayn William Nikole Marie and Kasey Carol Weiss. There are also many loving nephews and nieces.
