Carolyn Lee Shultz passed away on June 13, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in Bowling Green, KY on January 26, 1931 and later moved to Atlanta, GA, married Arvin Shuemake and had 3 children. She attended the Georgia State Business University and worked for the federal government for 10 years in telecommunications before moving to Daytona Beach, FL. Here she received her Florida real estate license and sold real estate for Benny Miles, Realtor, &  Palm Coast ITT Corp. She later worked for the county of Volusia and retired from the department of corrections.

Carolyn joined the Daytona Beach Elks Lodge #1141 in 1998 and served as treasurer for 10 years. She was honored with the "Elk Of The Year" Award in 2011 for her loyal and dedicated service for the betterment of the lodge.

Carolyn is predeceased by Gary Shultz, husband, and Thomas Allen Shuemake, son. She is survived by Linda Grant, daughter, Ted Shuemake, son, and Arvin Shuemake, Kim Kinmont, granddaughter, Sarah Kinmont, great-granddaughter, and Travis Kinmont, great-grandson, all of Daytona Beach.

Lohman Funeral Home Daytona is in charge of services which will be held graveside on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Daytona Memorial Park.
