A Celebration of Life for Carolyn Shewey 67 of Ormond Beach who entered into eternal peace Friday September 7 2007 at Halifax Medical Center Daytona Beach FL surrounded by the love of her family will be held on Monday September 10 2007 at 10:00 AM at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Chapel 733 W. Granada Blvd. Her family will be receiving friends Sunday September 9 2007 from 1 PM until 3 PM. Surviving are her husband of 42 years Robert a daughter Susanne and her husband Henry Randall Ormond Beach two sons Scott and his wife Jennifer Greensboro NC Steven and his wife Christine Deltona FL five grandchildren Christian Katelyn Jake Ryne Anna a brother Robin Stephens Fort Lauderdale FL two sisters Nancy Torchia Fort Meyers FL and Mary and Richard Lindstrom Miami FL. Carolyn was born August 31 1940 in Quitman GA. She married Robert Shewey October 2 1965. Kay worked as a teacher's assistant at Tomoka Elementary School for 21 years. She loved reading going shopping and planting flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for her grandchildren.
