Carolyn Branca Benedict 48 of Daytona Beach passed away unexpectedly on May 22 2012. A private family service will be held in her honor in New York.

Carolyn will be remembered for being a compassionate loving person. She worked as a home health care aide for the elderly. Carolyn moved to the Daytona Beach area to be near her parents. She cared for her own dear father Anthony Branca until his recent passing.

Carolyn had true reverence for the Bible and her Baptist faith. She enjoyed being near the ocean at her retirement. Her greatest love was for her children and family.

She is survived by her loving sons: Todd (Alisha) Benedict of NC and Joseph Benedict of NY; and grandson Ashton of NC. She will be sadly missed by her mother Dilena Branca of Ormond Beach; by her brothers: Anthony (Camille) Branca of NY and Mike (Sue) Branca of FL and by her sister Lisa Marini of NY. She will be mourned by many nieces nephews and friends.
