Carole Taylor 67 passed away March 4 2011 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice Palm Coast FL. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 9 2011 from 4pm to 6pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 220 Palm Coast Pkwy Palm Coast FL. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday March 10 2011 10am at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church 75 Pine Lakes Pkwy South Palm Coast FL. Followed by interment at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
Carole was born in NY. She graduated from Far Rockaway High School and Nassau Community College Hempstead NY. In 1977 Carole and her husband moved to Chicago then L.A. and to Palm Coast in 2005. Carole was very involved in the Mount Calvary Baptist Church attending many bible study groups over the years. She had a love for reading a good book especially the bible. Carole enjoyed traveling with her husband Herman. Carole was preceded in death by her 2 brothers Allen and Kenneth Vanager. She is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years Herman Taylor of Palm Coast FL. Son Linwood and his wife Tiffany of Bayshore NY daughter Natasha Taylor of Baltimore Maryland sisters Helen and her husband Alex Mason of Palm Coast FL and Sylvia Bryant of Arverne NY. Sister-in-Law Fredina DeLavega and Brother-in-Law Feloteo DeLavega of Palm Coast FL. Sister-in-Law Eula Vanager of West Hempstead NY. She is also survived by her godson Alex Jordan McManus and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions in Carole's name may be made to the American Cancer Society C/O P.O.
