Carole A. Rogers , of Port Orange, loving mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018. Carole was born in Alexandria, VA to LeRoy and Bonnie Batchelor.

She enjoyed being with her family, was loved by all and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Leyton "Buck" Rogers and son, David Holup. She is survived by her siblings Linda Marvel, William Batchelor, Joe Batchelor, John Batchelor, sons Joe Holup, Jeremy Rogers, and Andrew Rogers, and stepsons Leonard Rogers and John Rogers.

The family would like to give special thanks to Carole's loving sister, Linda, who assisted her in so many ways over the past several years.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carole's name to the Halifax Human Society are appreciated.

A service of remembrance celebration will be held on Monday, April 30, 6:00 p.m., at Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange, FL. Visitation is from 5-6pm. An additional future service will be held in northern Virginia followed by internment at Arlington National Cemetery.
