Obituary

Carol Ann Kroesen Peoples 72 of Ormond-by-the-Sea FL passed away Monday September 2 2013 at Florida Hospital Memorial Hospice after a lengthy illness. The family will receive friends on Friday September 6th at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach between the hours of 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 12:00 p.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd. Ormond Beach.

Carol was born May 4 1941 in Doylestown PA and grew up in Lambertville NJ on October 1 1966 Carol married John G. Peoples of Trenton NJ. They remained happily married for 47 years. Carol was always a devoted and loving wife mother and grandmother. She and John moved to Ormond-by-the-Sea in 1992 where they have been parishioners at St. Brendan's Catholic Church. Carol was an avid race fan and a long-time member of the Living Legends of Auto Racing Community Organization. She also enjoyed traveling reading crossword puzzles crocheting and needle-work as well as spending time with her family and friends both in person and on her computer.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Harry S. and Theresa A. Kroesen as well as by her brother Harry "Rick" Kroesen. She is survived by her husband John Peoples of Ormond Beach daughter and son-in-law Heidi Ann and William Coleman of Yardville NJ and granddaughter Casey Lynn Coleman; son and daughter-in-law Brian John and Kathleen Peoples of Chesterfield NJ and granddaughter Taylor Peoples; two great-grandsons Tristan and Hayden; her uncle Chet Wisniewski of Lawrenceville NJ a sister-in-law Alice Ann Kroesen and nieces Christine Lacey and Mary Kay Myers all of New Jersey two brothers-in-law and their families; Thomas and Carolyn Peoples of Ormond-by-the-Sea and Dennis and JoAnn Peoples of Rapid City SD and sisters-in-law Theresa M. and David Dunkelberger Langhorne PA Mary Claire Colbert of Atco NJ and Patricia A. Peoples of Ormond-by-the-Sea.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in Carol's honor be made to either Florida Hospital Hospice Care 770 W. Granada Ave Suite 304 Ormond Beach FL 32174 or Living Legends of Auto Racing Community Organization PO Box 290854 Port Orange FL 32129.
