Carol L. Morris 77 of South Daytona passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family. A visitation in her honor will be held Wednesday January 2 2013 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond from 4:00-6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Paul's Catholic Church on Thursday January 3 2013 at 9:00am.
Carol was born and raised in Washington DC. She moved to Florida with her husband Wayne and family in 1971.
Carol was a caring homemaker. In her spare time Carol enjoyed crocheting baking and cooking for her family; to whom she lovingly gave her whole life. She will be remembered as being a completely devoted wife mother grandmother and feisty Notre Dame fan.
Carol was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years Wayne E. Morris Sr. She will be sadly missed by her children: Wayne Morris David Morris Teresa Wilson and Diane Morris; her sister Genevieve Griswold; Genevieve's daughters Jill Jackson and Gail Bozeman;grandchildren: Kenneth Wilson Christina David Jennifer Wilson and 11 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home in Ormond Beach.
