Carol Marie Hughes, 85, of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023. She was born on December 7, 1937 in Providence, Rhode Island to parents Ernest Conrad Hunold and Alice May Legg. The Hunold family relocated to Warwick, Rhode Island, where Carol attended Gorton High School and graduated in 1954. She was a secretary for the City of Warwick, Rhode Island for many years while also raising her family. Carol was an artist at heart; she was a talented painter and loved performing in the community theater.

Carol is predeceased by her husband; Carlo Parrillo, their daughter; Georgann Parrillo, and Carol's siblings; Ernest C. Hunold, Jr., Gloria A. Jobin, Robert E. Hunold, George F. Hunold, Donald R. Hunold, and Sharon L. Thibodeaux.

Survived by her sister; Deborah J. Reilly, daughter; Lori Ann (Somsak) Freeman, and goddaughter; Susan (Carl) Sjogren.

Grandchildren; Courtney (Joshua) Brasil, Caitlin (Charles) Sylvia, Cami (Ian) Sylvia, Steven (Sonya) Parrillo, and Shannon (Jason) O'Dell.

Great-grandchildren; Alexander Parrillo, Chloe Parrillo, Julianna Parrillo, and Annabelle Martin.
