Carol Ten Broeck Lawrence, 66, of Ormond Beach, FL died Tuesday, February 2nd, 2022.

Born Dec. 25, 1955 at Fort Eustis, Va., she was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Lawrence; her parents, Culver O. and Edna M. Ten Broeck; and her brother, Bruce C. Ten Broeck.

Carol retired from the Volusia County School System after 30 years of service. A 1973 graduate of Mainland High School, Carol went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from Saint Leo University and her Master's Degree from Stetson University.

During her retired years, Lawrence continued to give back to the community she had served for so long: sewing and donating hundreds of masks during the pandemic; sewing and donating seat belt protectors for cancer patients with ports; and many other projects in addition to her volunteer work.

Lawrence is survived by her daughter, Nichole (Julian) Kain (and grandson Henry) of Longmont, Colo.; son, Adam, of Ormond Beach; sisters, Sharon Kupfer of Dallas, Ga. and Jane (Ken) Petrie, of Wilbur-By-The-Sea, Fl.; brothers, Alan (Tammy) Ten Broeck of Fountain, Fl. and Tom (Carolyn) Ten Broeck of Williston, Fl.; and sister-in-law, Carla Ten Broeck of Albuquerque, N.M.
