Carlton R. Turner, 76 of Deltona passed away on Sunday August 16, 2015. Carlton was born in Fayetteville West Virginia to Sherman and Ernestine Turner. A celebration of life will be held Friday August 21, 2015 at Deltona Alliance Church 921 Deltona Blvd, Deltona, Fl 32725 at 12:00. A graveside service is to follow at Deland Memorial Gardens 600 East Beresford Ave, Deland, Fl at 2:00. He loved motorcycling, camping, NASCAR (Dale Earnhardt fan), spending time with his family, working on cars, his dogs (Tater, Tot, and Bella), country music, and coaching little league baseball. He was a big practical joker because he loved to put a smile on someone's face. Carlton served four years in the Navy on the USS Lowry DD-770. He was predeceased by his mother Ernastine Alexander and father Sherman Turner, step sister Milly Tate, step brothers, Tony Fleshman and Terry Fleshman, son Travis Turner and grandson Trenton Turner. He is survived by his wife Loredana, three Son's Tony and wife Sharen of Ormand Beach Fl, Troy and wife Martha of Deltona, Fl, and Tracy and wife Chris of Deltona, Fl. His daughter Lucy Eber of Jacksonville Fl, half sisters Barbara Camren and Sharon Turner, sister Margie Rotenberry, sister-in-law Gertrude, and two stepsons Roderick Moyer of Deltona Fl and Ronald Moyer of Orlando. He also has 12 Grandchildren that he loved dearly.
