A Memorial Service for Carlton D. Rich age 84 of Big Tree Rd S. Daytona FL will be held Thursday June 1 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Ormond Lakes Clubhouse in Ormond Beach FL. Mr Philip Reed will officiate. Mr. Rich passed away at the Hospice Care Center in Port Orange FL on Friday May 26 2006. He was born on August 3 1921 in Holly Hill FL. He graduated from Mainland High School. Carlton married Ann Neilsen on December 10 1948 and worked in the Daytona area as a tile setter until he retired. In his spare time Carlton could be found on the river fishing. He loved to fish and had a great sense of humor. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Ann; 2 sons; James D. Barbara Rich of Houston TX and their children Adam and Jason with great grandchild Jillian. Michael J. Alana Rich of Montreal Canada and their children Jacqueline M. and Samantha. 2 daughters; Christine A. Art Gardiner of New Smyrna Beach FL with their 5 children Lisa Eric Vincent and child Ezra Amanda Christopher Selman Briana Jeremy Gould Kaley Christopher Griggs and AJ Megan Gardiner. And Julie K. Steven Olson with their children Ryan and Arica. Also 2 sisters Doris Ellis of NC and Sara Eddins of Orlando FL.
