Funeral Services for Calvin M. Willis of Ormond Beach who died Monday May 9 2005 in Ormond Beach will be Thursday May 12th at 11:00am in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with Pastor Joe Putting as the officiant. His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. There will be a graveside service held Thursday May 12th at 2:00pm at Sea Pines Cemetery in Edgewater FL. Mr. Willis was born on August 29 1923 in Kinston North Carolina. He was an Army veteran earning a Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal Good Conduct Medal WW II Victory Medal and a Meritorious Unit Award. Mr. Willis is a college graduate from Morris Harvey College in Charleston West Virginia. He was a sales supervisor for the News Journal newspaper and also worked for Dr. Suresh Desai. In his spare time he enjoyed woodcarving. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Barbara daughters Sallie Bronson of Orlando Fl and Lori Bates of Edgewater Fl and 5 grandchildren.
