Calvin Sanson, 76, of Lake Mary, passes away on May 24, 2022, in Danville, Virginia where he was the Vice President of Finance and Administration for Danville Community College. He was predeceased by his parents, Gino and Sophie Sanson and is survived by his stepdaughter Amanda Garrison of California, brother Ted and nephew Doug of New Jersey, niece Lisa of New Jersey, and nephews Scott of Ohio, Jeff and Duane of Tennessee, and Ben of Texas, as well as a host of "grands". Cal graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson and Rutgers University with Bachelors and Masters in finance and accounting. He previously owned Business Appraisal Services in Casselberry. He last worked at and retired from Beacon College in Leesburg as a Vice President of Finance and Administration. Traveling, coin collecting, flowers and sports such as rappelling were his pastimes. He frequently said that his cattle, his cats and his wife of 32 years, Linda Murray Sanson, originally of Deland, were his three loves, but not necessarily in that order. Funeral services will be held at Lohman's Funeral Home in Deland Florida, Tuesday June 7th 2022 at 1:00 pm, after which he will be interred at Oakdale Cemetery, both in Deland, Florida.
