C. Richard Green age 73 of Daytona Beach went to his eternal home to join the Lord and his beloved wife Shirley on April 17 2008. Mr. Green came to the Daytona Beach area 12 years ago after his retirement as an electrical engineer for Jersey Central Power and Light of New Jersey. He served his country in the US Air Force and was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Daytona Beach. He also was a Free and Accepted Mason of the Cincinnati Lodge Morristown New Jersey and the Greater Daytona Shrine. Prior to his recent illness Mr. Green loved to golf and to participate in other outdoor activities including gardening. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with close friends. However his greatest passion was his children and grand children. He is survived by 2 children; Laurie Ann Green Jupiter FL and Richard Green and his wife Patricia Wantage NJ; 3 grandchildren; Richard E. Green Jupiter FL Stephanie Green and Ashley Green Wantage NJ. A memorial service in his honor will be held Saturday April 26 2008; 11 AM at United Presbyterian Church 730 Bevelle Rd. Daytona Beach 386-253-2324. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church.
