On Sunday September 5 2010 Buel Lee left this earth on the wings of angels. Buel was a shining light from the moment he entered the world and he continued to brighten the lives of friends and family till he took his last breath. Born in Oxford NC on December 29 1950 Buel moved to this area when he was 9. After completing his military service he became a master carpenter and met the love of his life Linda. Always one for adventure Buel made their 37 year marriage one filled with love and laughter - and MANY crazy stories. His children and grandchildren inherited his zest for life and he took great pride in their every accomplishment. He worked for the Volusia County School Board for 25 years and in his free time enjoyed hunting fishing woodworking and gardening. The impact Buel had on the life of his family and friends will always be felt and his light will always shine bright! He is survived by his wife Linda of New Smyrna Beach FL; his daughter Kelly Lee of Port Orange FL; his son David (Donell) Lee of New Smyrna Beach FL; his daughter Terri (Ty) Mercer of Atlanta GA; and his four grandchildren Mackenzie & Declan Mercer and Dalaney & Wesley Lee.
