Obituary

Bucy Taylor-Trumble 73 a long-time resident of the Daytona Beach area passed away on January 24 2010 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on April 6 1936 in Richmond Virginia which is where she met her late husband and love of her life James Taylor. After they were married they relocated to the Daytona area to start a new life. Their marriage was a true inspiration to their children and those who knew them. Bucy worked as a waitress for many years at both the Steak and Shake on International Speedway as well as Sweet Lucy's at Daytona Beach Shores. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening reading and coin collecting however her favorite past time was vacationing in Las Vegas and taking day trips on the Sun Cruz out of Port Canaveral. Bucy was a member of a rare breed; she was firm in her convictions believed in chivalry and never lived below the high standards she set for herself. She will be remember as being hard working honest and loyal but most of all for the deep love and devotion she had for her family. Left to cherish her memory are her brother John Shaw and wife Carmen of Richmond VA; daughters Denisha Benson of Tampa FL Sandra Miller of Albuquerque NM; son John Taylor of Edgewater FL; daughter Cynthia Taylor-Guarino and Husband Peter of St. Marys GA; grandchildren Tabitha Valerie John Conner Michelle Steven Hunter and Mason. She was predeceased by her husbands Dennis Benson James Taylor and Leon Trumble. Services will be private.
