Elizabeth E. Brush 83 Port Orange FL passed away August 18 2009 at Horizon Vistas where she had been residing for the last year. A service in her honor will be held on Friday August 21 2009 12:00 noon visitation 10:30 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park. Elizabeth was born on July 28 1925 to Harry Thomas and Mary Jane Mickens in Butler N.J. and graduated from Butler High School in 1943. Elizabeth and her husband of 57 years Paul N. Brush who preceded her in death raised their family in Butler NJ. They retired and moved to Port Orange in 1985 and spent their retirement years traveling through 49 of the 50 states as well as cruising the Bahamas Alaska and the Panama Canal. Elizabeth is survived by her four children Linda Lang and Joy Brush both of Port Orange Florida Paul N. Brush Saylorsburg Pennsylvania and John M. Brush West Valley City Utah; and a sister Judith A. Mickens Bar Harbor Maine. She was the very proud grandmother and nana to 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchilden. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
