Bruce was an accomplished pianist who graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in 1977 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. He travelled the country on tour as a professional musician, playing keyboard and writing songs for the band Diamond Alley.  He met the love of his life, Cynthia (Cyndi) at a show in Jacksonville, and the two married in 1982.  Bruce returned to school and graduated with honors from Marquette University Law School in 1990. Following graduation, Bruce and Cyndi moved to Daytona Beach, Florida where Bruce began a successful legal career.  Bruce was a civil litigator with some of the area's largest law firms including as an associate and later a shareholder at Cobb Cole, P.A., an attorney with Hassell-Legal, P.A., and an attorney with Wright & Casey, P.A.  Bruce enjoyed a diverse civil litigation practice that included the defense of personal injury cases, products liability cases, insurance broker claims, contractual disputes, and shareholder disputes. His civil litigation practice ranged from the successfully defending the School Board of Volusia County in a First Amendment claim that ultimately reached the United States Supreme Court to representing a local corporation in one of the largest and most complex shareholder disputes to ever arise in Volusia County.  Bruce excelled in his work, mentored other attorneys, and was loved by his co-workers and clients. Aside from his passion for music and the law, Bruce Loved Jesus. He found his tremendous
Love for God at Tomoka Christian Church where he became an Elder there and taught the Bible on many levels too many
people. He taught Discipleships-Self Confrontation Group and had a Monday night Bible study
Group in his home for 20 years. His Faith was strong and now Heaven is home.
