Obituary

Bronislaw Partyka, 95, a WW II veteran, of Port Orange Florida passed away on April 26, 2021.  He passed away in his home of 34 years.

He was born on August 16,1925 to Mother Balbina and Father Jan Partyka in Manastesz Poland. At 14, with his family, he was taken to Siberia Russia and escaped with his family at 16 before joining the Polish Armed forces.  Was part of the Polish II Corps successful assault and capture of the Abbey at the Battle of Monte Cassino that led to the allied breakthrough of the Winter Line in Italy.  After the War, he met his future wife Diana Ford in England and together moved to America in 1957.  He worked for Pfizer for 30 years before retiring to Florida with Diana.  "There they pursued their passion for ballroom dancing and cruising on luxury vessels for nearly 25 years."

He is survived by his sister Genowefa Weiss and her daughter Deanna and husband Larry Rakes and children, his daughter Bronia and husband Thomas Decker, his son Robert and wife Dolores Partyka, his son Kenneth and wife Darlene Partyka and grandchildren Kenneth and Samantha Partyka and son Richard Partyka.  Funeral services are May 3rd, Monday at the Lohman's Funeral Home in Port Orange. Viewing is at 10 am with Chapel services at 11 am.  He is to be interred at Daytona Memorial Park.
