Brittany Nicole Huffman's Obituary

Brittany Nicole Huffman, 26, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 in Ormond Beach, Florida.  She was born on February 9, 1994 to Bill and Andrea Huffman, née Taylor, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Brittany grew up a spunky and upbeat child, always the star of the show.  She successfully competed in beauty and talent pageants during her adolescent years.  In high school, she became a cheerleader, a trait she would carry throughout her life.  Brittany graduated from Calvary Christian Academy in 2012 and went on to enroll in Daytona State College where she earned her associate degree in surgical technology. Brittany enjoyed making people laugh, playing with her dachshund, Champ, and applying other people's makeup to make them feel and look their very best.  She was known by her family and friends for her goodwill to all people, her giving nature, and her ability to sense when people needed her help.  She had a loving and cheerful personality that brightened any room.  Anyone who knew her would tell you that she was one of the most caring people they ever met.  She always made sure that the people in her life were cared for and she always stood up for the people she loved.  You certainly don't meet a person like her every day.  She was loved by so many and made an impact on numerous lives. She is survived by her parents, Bill and Andrea Huffman; four siblings: sister, Sara Huffman; brother and sister-in law, Russell and Priska Jordan; brother, William Huffman; sister, Tori Huffman; grandparents, Danny "Papa" and Darnell "Grandma" Taylor of North Augusta, South Carolina; grandmother, Shirley "Nonnie" McIntosh of Aiken, South Carolina; grandmother, Grace Huffman of Warrenville, South Carolina; great-grandmother, Myrtle "Granny" Clary of Keystone Heights, Florida; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Jacob and Mildred "Grammy" Taylor; great-grandparents, Henry and Lorene McIntosh; and great-grandfather Edward Clary. Brittany's family and friends will celebrate her life on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 West Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, Florida.  The visitation will take place from 12 PM – 2 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 2 PM.  Mark Spivey, MA, LCSW will officiate.
