Brianna Hamilton, 21, of Debary, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2025 in DeLand, Florida. She was born on May 3, 2004, in Longwood, Florida, the daughter of Courtney Hamilton.

She graduated from high school on May 19, 2023, and started working in customer service, but was also a dancer and artist. Brianna was an adventurous woman, her free spirit always wanting to try new and different things. She wanted to travel the world and be loved. Brianna felt the world differently, deeply, and curiously. She loved painting, dancing, writing poetry, crafting, planting flowers, and always trying something new. Brianna was always the life of the party; she brightened every room she entered. Her caring, fun, and empathetic nature will be missed by all who knew her. No one could be in a bad mood around her, she would dance, twirl, and make you smile.

Brianna leaves behind her loving parents, Courtney Hamilton and Amos Petty; her siblings, Tyler (Courtney) Hamilton, Catlynn Hamilton, Alysa Hamilton, Destiny Petty, and Nate Petty; her aunt, Vicky Spinella; her uncle, Rickey Shelhorse, Sr.; and many loving friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Vicki Shelhorse and George Shelhorse; and her cousins, Rickey Shelhorse, Jr. and Kayla Shelhorse.

A Celebration of Brianna's life will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home, located at 1681 Providence Boulevard, Deltona, FL 32725.

In honor of Brianna, her family has welcomed brightly colored clothes.
