IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian
Tanturri
July 6, 1956 – November 7, 2024
In Loving Memory of our #1
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Brian Tanturri, a deeply cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Originally born in Queens; He was a proud New Yorker, Brian, spent his later years in Florida where he grew closer to his family, made lifelong friends, and embraced all the beach life had to offer. He felt truly at home here. As a deeply loved grandfather, he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, leaving a legacy of love and connection.
A man with a dynamic and magnetic personality, Brian was adored by family and friends all across the country. He lived life with passion and a generous heart, leaving a lasting impact, kindness, and devotion that spanned coast to coast. His loyalty and warmth touched countless lives, and his friendships endured across a lifetime, with bonds that remained as strong as the day they were made.
From his teenage years, Brian, had a fascination with cars, and this passion fueled a remarkable life. He drove trucks, sold cars, and was known for his impeccable work ethic and commitment to every job he undertook. But he was more than just a car enthusiast; he was a Harley lover, a NASCAR fan, and a man who found joy in the thrill of the open road. His love for driving was as unending as his loyalty to the people he cared about.
Brian was a family man, through and through. As the patriarch of his family, he was a steadfast leader and a pillar of strength to his siblings, offering both guidance and support throughout his life. To his son and grandchildren, he was more than a father and grandfather; he was their best friend, a source of laughter, wisdom, and unwavering support. The deep connection they shared was one of unconditional love and an unbreakable bond that will live on forever. His kitchen creations—especially his famous pasta sauce and key lime pie—were legendary, bringing everyone together and filling the room with joy.
A man of deep connections, Brian, genuinely loved people, embodying kindness and selflessness in everything he did. He went out of his way to help friends, neighbors, and anyone in need, and his generosity knew no bounds. His humor, compassion, and devotion to others made him a true blessing to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Brian is survived by his son, Nicholas, his daughter in law, Megan, and his two cherished grandchildren, Lucas and Juliette; his fiancé, Gabriela Urdaneta; and his devoted siblings Tina, Lisa Cochrane, John, Alida Addeo and Roger Storm, as well as an endless circle of friends and loved ones across the country who will miss him dearly. His legacy of love and his infectious joy for life will forever inspire those who knew him.
Rest in peace, Grandpa. The open road now leads you home, and we take comfort knowing you are in God's care, riding with His angels by your side, and at peace in His eternal presence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
