Brian L. Portwine 23 of Port Orange Passed away Friday May 27 2011. There will be a celebration of Brian's life on Saturday June 4 2011 at 2pm at the LOHMAN FUNERAL HOME PORT ORANGE 1201 Dunlawton Ave Port Orange.
In loving memory of Brian Lee Portwine who bravely defended his country receiving a purple heart and army commendation medal for his valiant service. A student in good standing at Daytona State College Brian worked with Admissions and Counseling until his 2nd deployment.
Brian is survived by his parents: Fred Portwine and Peggy Portwine: grandmother Mrs. Patricia Portwine; aunts and uncles Sandra(Matt) Elsey Judy (Bob ) Majeski Tim (Terry) McNamara Cheri Portwine Susan (Rick) Tomberlin Mary Portwine Margaret (Mac) Cope and many cousins nieces nephews and friends. Embraced by Our Lord in life we take comfort in His continued care of Brian for all of Eternity.
