Bonnie Fay Smith 67 of New Smyrna Beach passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on April 22 2013. A Visitation will be held on Saturday April 27 2013 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona from 12:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 P.M. with the burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
Bonnie was born on June 6 1945 to the late Myrtle (Luke) and Lester L. Barber in Daytona Beach Florida. She attended Mainland High School and moved to New Smyrna Beach after she was married. Bonnie enjoyed walking on the beach Scrabble and spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children David A.(Tina) Smith Susan R. (W.T) Sapp; step-son Bryan (Melissa) Smith; siblings Reginald Barber Geneva Russell Van Barber; grandchildren Kayla Sapp Jacob T. Sapp Adam Smith Abbee Smith Alan Smith April Smith; great grandson Jacob Parnell Sapp; and many extended family members and friends.. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Myrtle and Lester Barber; husband Robert H. Smith; siblings Elouise Burkhalter -Sutton Martha Barber -Brogan; and step-son Robert W. Smith.
