Bobby Lee Rogers 78 of Port Orange passed away Wednesday April 29 2009 at Hospice of Volusia Flagler after a long Illness. A celebration of life will be held on Monday May 11th at First Baptist Church Port Orange 316 Church St. Bobby was born August 9th 1930 in Knoxville Tennessee to Riley and Maggie Rogers. He joined the United States Air Force in October 1951. Bobby served time in Korea 1952-1953 and Vietnam 1967-1968. Bobby was a member of the Masons VFW American Legion AF Sergeants Association Maplewood Home owner Association. Bobby is survived by wife Terri Rogers; nephew s Jimmy Rogers of Colorado Springs Colorado Roy Rogers Jr. of Charlotte North Carolina Ronny Rogers of Myrtle Beach South Carolina Ricky Rogers of Mount Holly North Carolina; three step children; and seven step grandchildren. He was known for his cheerful personality joke telling and pool shooting. Bobby will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.
