Rev. Bobby Joe Bowles
1944 - 2006

Rev. Bobby Joe Bowles went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Saturday morning April 15 2006. He passed at the age of 61 from his home in Palm Coast. Bobby was born in Vian Oklahoma on September 24 1944 to Roy Melvin Bowles & Mary Lou Cowett Bowles. He grew up & attended High School in Vian OK and later attended Bible College in Woodland OK. After spending some years in California Bobby & his wife moved to Florida in 2003. He has been a resident of Palm Coast for almost 2 years. Bobby was an ordained minister and attended Church of the Rock in Flagler Beach. He worked for the City of Palm Coast as an Equipment Operator level 2 and enjoyed his favorite hobby of woodworking.
Bobby Joe Bowles was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of almost 15 years Sharon Byrd Bowles; children Douglas Brace & wife Michelle and Lisa Smith & husband Chris; brothers Howard Dean Bowles of Brentwood CA Frederick Bowles of Tulsa OK & Buddy Melvin Bowles of S. Dakota; sister Ruth Bowles of Oklahoma; children ; brother-in-law Darryl Byrd and many nieces & nephews.
A celebration of Bobby?s life will be held at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast on Wednesday April 19 2006.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6 PM ? 8 PM on Tuesday April 18. Interment will follow the services at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.
