Bobbie J McKee of Deland was born June 22, 1936 in Harnet County, NC. Bobbie grew up on a farm in fields of cotton and tobacco. She left this world with her Lord and Savior on June 27, 2021 and to be with the only true love of her life, C. B. McKee, Sr. predeceasing her but was constantly reassured by him that "the boys" would always take wonderful care of her.

Bobbie's entire immediate family, two brothers and a sister, her parents and grandparents moved to DeLand in the late 50's. Bobbie waitressed behind the counter of Woolworth's on the corner of New York Ave and Woodland Boulevard for 15 years. She so enjoyed meeting, serving and befriending many local residents with her black beehive hairdo and red lipstick.

When C. B. passed in 1997 "the boys" took her hand through this stage of her life with the care and compassion she gave to others. She is survived by three sons; C. B.(Butch) Jr. (Carole), Larry (Linda) and Donnie (Mary), brother Pete Matthews (Alice) and many nieces and nephews.
9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 12 noon Wednesday June 30, 2021 at Deland Memorial Gardens, DeLand, FL.
