Robert H. "Bob" Smith 68 of New Smyrna Beach passed away unexpectedly on May 7th 2012.A Visitation will be held on Friday May 11th 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 12th 2012 in the Chapel of the Funeral Home at 12:00pm with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Robert was born on July 12 1943 to the late Anita Bosco. & Hiram Smith. He was a 1963 graduate of Mainland High School and worked for Winn Dixie as Market Manager for 23years. Bob also worked in Food Supply for 15 years and owned 2 commercial fishing boats and was a pioneer in the offshore commercial fishing industry. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Robert W. Smith. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years Bonnie Smith Children Bryan K. Smith David A. Smith Susan R. Sapp grandchildren Kayla Sapp Jacob T. Sapp Adam Smith Abbee Smith Alan Smith April Smith and 1 great grandson Jacob Parnell Sapp siblings Barbra Jean Kitchen Joseph Smith Alan Smith Timothy Bosco Andrew Bosco and James Bosco.
