A Mass of Christian burial for Blanche Fredericks 93 of Daytona Beach FL who passed away March 24 2006 will be Thursday March 30 2006 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Daytona Beach at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Mrs. Fredericks was born on August 24 1912 in Ascot Corner near Sherbrook in Canada. She was the last of 8 children of Luc and Eugenie Ouellette. In 1954 she moved to Connecticut where she learned English and worked in a jewelry store for 30 years. She was an accomplished seamstress and had a beautiful singing voice. She married a musician Al Fredericks now deceased in 1981 and they moved to Daytona Beach in 1989. They loved to play cards and go to the theater and movies with friends. She was a very religious woman and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Daytona Beach. She is survived by her nephew Guy Ouellette in Canada and her sister in law Irene Ouellette whom she lived with for many years.
