Billie Aileen Sweitzer, 90, of Port Orange, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Sandalwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, December 26, at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida.
Billie was born in Coal Grove, Ohio on June 18, 1923 and came to this area with her parents as a young child. As an adult, Billie met and married the love of her life, Charles Sweitzer. Billie worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for the Coca Cola Bottling Company. She also spent many years providing tax services for others. Billie enjoyed reading her Bible, watching religious programs on television, collecting antiques, and working in her yard with plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents, father, Ernest J. Williams; mother, Lyma Ousley Williams; brother, Ernest J. Williams, Jr.; and her beloved husband Charles Sweitzer. Billie is survived by close friends, Dennis Fidler, who she thought of as a son; Wynell Gallon, and Carol Jarvis, caregivers who took care of her needs, along with other family friends.
