Beverly "Joan" Carman, 84 of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on Wed. January 10, 2018 at Indigo Manor, Daytona Beach, Florida. The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 15 ^th between the hours of 11:30~2:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach, Joan's " Celebration of Life" will commence at 2:00 pm, followed by the interment at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach. Joan was born on November 6, 1933 in Binghamton, New York to John and Alice Gilroy. She retired from Publix after seventeen years as Customer Service Staff in 2010. In her younger years, she enjoyed being a full time mom and taking care of her six children.  Her house was always open and had a revolving door between her own children and the neighborhood kids that would run in and out all day, every day. She was a devoted Mom and Wife who always put everyone else first and herself last. She loved watching the Game Show Network, her Orlando Magic and the PGA Tour.

Joan was married to her loving husband of sixty years, Bob Carman, who passed away October of 2012. Joan had four sons, Michael (Pam) Carman, Port Orange, Robert "Bobby" (Kathy) Carman, Ormond Beach, Keith (Gretchen) Carman, Ormond Beach, and Chris (Jeannette) Carman, Ormond Beach, also two daughters, Michelle (Kerry) Presnell, Ormond Beach, and Kelly (Denise Nirschl) Carman, Daytona Beach, a sister Mary Catherine (James) Egan and fourteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
