Obituary

Beulah Mollohan Brown Neil age 96 of Daytona Beach Florida formerly from Birch West Virginia quietly departed her earthly home on October 2 2011 to be in the arms of Jesus.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 5 2011 at Central Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with a "Celebration of Life" to follow at 12:00 noon. The Reverend Sonny Gallman will officiate. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach Florida.

Beulah was born January 16 1915 in Birch River West Virginia where she remained until 1982. She was a member of Birch River Baptist Church was an elementary school teacher and principal a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan attended Fairmont State Teachers' College and West Virginia University. In 1954 she joined the Delta Kappa Gamma Society where she was President Vice President and Secretary and served on various committees within the organization until moving to Florida. She was a 4-H Club Leader for 37 years and a member of the 4-H All-Stars organization where she was President Vice President Secretary Recorder and County Delegate. She was also President of the County Education Association (CEA) which included all county educators teachers principles and administrators. She also served on many committees with in this organization. Beulah was Chairman of the State Committee of Classroom Teachers Association where she helped write a book called "The Handbook for Beginning Teachers". She was President and Vice President of the Nicholas County Teachers' Association and was on various committees.

Beulah was an active member at her Baptist church in Birch River WV serving on many committees and directing Vacation Bible School for 9 years. After moving to Daytona Beach she became a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters Lorraine Allen and Rose Brown one niece eight nephews eight great nieces nine great nephews and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Jessie Barnes Mollohan husbands Emil Brown and Harold Neil one sister Edith Frame and one brother Harold Mollohan.

A special thanks to Beulah's wonderful caregivers Nancy T.J. Barbie the nurses and staff at Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler Port Orange and her " special daughters" Faye Fuller and niece Sharon Kay Given. These extraordinary folks were with her until her final breath.
