Betty Ann Wilks Willis beloved wife of James T Willis loving mother of Judy Dunn Jeff Wilks Roger Wilks and Randy Wilks and stepmother to Jimmy & John Willis passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 7th with family at her bedside.

Betty Ann led a quite the adventurous life having lived in Germany East Africa and Southeast Asia while raising a family along the way. She was born September 6th 1929 in Laramie Wyoming the youngest child of seven children to Stanley and Bessie Blackburn. On December 21st 1947 Betty Ann married Norman Edward Wilks of Cheyenne Wyoming and her great adventure began. Norman a career Army Officer served at many posts across the U.S. and the world until his death in 1974. After settling in Rockville Maryland in 1975 she met and married James T. Willis. Jim and Betty a devoted couple spent the next 34 wonderful years together spending their time between their homes in Golden Beach Maryland and Palm Coast Florida.

Services for Betty Ann will be held in Charlotte Hall Maryland at the Brunsfield Echols Funeral Home with interment at the Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville Maryland. Betty Ann will be forever loved remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends.
