Obituary

Betty Wildmone, 85, of S. Daytona Beach, FL was born June 24, 1932 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She along with husband Roy and son Roy Lee moved to Florida in 1972. While Roy ran a deep sea fishing boat, Betty turned their home into a business by opening it as an assisted-living facility. The business flourished and continued to expand over the next 40 years with Betty's Progressive Elderly Care becoming a premier business in the South Daytona area. Betty retired in 2012 and resided with her son Roy. She continued to remain active in her community and church but experienced numerous bouts with cancer. She was a survivor having beaten cancer on three occasions before finally succumbing to the disease.
Betty passed away on July 22, 2017 - but she never gave up, she never stopped fighting. She is preceded in death by her daughter Bonita Jill Stephens and is survived by sons Roy Lee Wildmone (CJ) and Tony Perry (Faye). In addition, she is survived by a niece Sue Garay, grandson Travis Malone, granddaughters Jennifer Jackson (Cory) and Marissa Davis (Braandon), great grandchildren Caleb, Callie, Cameron and Harlynn, great-great grandchildren Keylee and McKenzie.
