Saturday morning December 2 Mrs. Betty J. TenBroeck of Daytona Beach left her earthly home after an extended stay at Halifax Medial Center. Betty was born in Chattanooga Tennessee September 18 1925. She lived in Daytona Beach most of her adult life. Betty taught special education for 29 years at Hillcrest and Palm Terrace Elementary Schools. She delighted in traveling with her husband Owen and her friends touring Israel China Europe Canada and most of the United States.
Betty is survived by 3 daughters Linda Ryals and her husband Cecil Naples FL Deborah Ellsworth and her husband Gene Dandridge TN and Sheria Johnson and her husband Mike Kennedale TX; four sons Tony Adcox Daytona Gary TenBroeck Daytona Randy TenBroeck Daytona and Tim TenBroeck and his wife Saundra Gainesville FL; 16 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Betty was preceded in death by her parents her two brothers and her husband Owen G. TenBroeck.
The Family will receive friends during a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Sunday Dec.10th 2006 at South Daytona Christian Church Pastor Bobby Smith presiding. The church is located at 2121 Kenilworth Ave. South Daytona. For more information call the church at 386-767-6949.
