Funeral Services for Betty S. Sheppard 77 of Daytona Beach who died Tuesday March 29 2005 will be 2 pm Saturday April 2 in the chapel of the Lohman Daytona Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Mrs. Sheppard was born in Hellertown P and moved to the Daytona Beach area in 1947. Betty was retired from the Volusia County School Board. She was very active in PTA Little League and local softball while her sons were growing up. Her husband Sparky Sr. and her son Kenneth predeceased her. Her sons Ronald and wife Bernadette of Port Orange Dennis of Daytona Beach and Sparky Jr. and wife Ann of NC survive her. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law Linda Lewis of Daytona; 3 grandsons 2 granddaughters 4 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters; 2 sisters Janice Moser of Dade City Paulette Derr of Palm Harbor; a brother Bobby Deiley of Clearwater and several nieces and nephews. Betty will always be remembered for her love of garage sales her assorted collections her year-round Christmas tree and her many years at the Allendale Flea Market.
