Age 85 of Port Orange Fl. formerly of Elmira New York passed away Friday March 19 2010 in the hospital. A Memorial Service will be Thursday March 25 2010; 3:30 PM at Pickwick Village Clubhouse Port Orange FL. Betty worked at Remington Rand then worked for Chemung County as a Clerk. Ending her working career as the Clerk for the Town of Elmira. Living until 1980 and then moving to Florida.
Husband Doug Mitchell predeceased her in 1998. She is survived by her daughters Betty Jeanne (Daniel) Holleran of Elmira Sharon (William) Michaels of Winter Park Fl Roberta (David) Knickerbocker of Murfreesboro Tenn. son Douglas of Sarasota Fl. and special friend Eugene Eckles Jr..
