Betty Sue Minahan 70 of Flagler Beach passed away on February 1 2012 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center in Daytona Beach FL. A Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Monday February 6 2012 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday February 7 2012 with a visitation from 1:30 PM til the Service begins all at the Funeral Home.

Betty Minahan was born on August 10 1941 in Murphy NC to Oliver and Nola Cook.
In 1968 she moved to Orlando FL along with her husband where they raised their family and then moved to Flagler Beach in December 1994.
She retired from Lancaster Elementary School in Orlando FL.

She loved playing cards reading dancing and coordinating special events. She will always be remembered as a "Social Butterfly".

Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years Bob whom she married on November 10 1967; two sons Bob (Reba) of Orlando FL and Tim (Lisa) of St. Cloud FL; two daughters Mary (Mike) Beran of Decatur GA and Karen Minahan of Deltona FL; three brothers John Cook of AL David Cook of IN and Jim Cook of IN; four sisters Mary Coleman of LA Doris Walker of AL Shirley Johnson of KY and Lassie Bauser of NC; Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Lori Ann Minahan in 1971.
