Betty H. Jackson, born September 21, 1940, in Cumming, Georgia to Curtis and Maggie Hansard, entered eternal glory, February 11, 2025.

Betty moved to DeLand in 1969 from Lake Alfred, Florida.

Betty spent her career with the Volusia County Public School Cafeteria Services and was co-founder of Emmett's Septic Tank, in 1985 with her late husband, Emmett.  She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, both immediate and extended.  She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, volunteering with the Fellowship Committee.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett; and daughter, Marcia.

She is survived by her sons Curtis (Cindy) Jackson of Eustis, Florida and Jason (Susan) Jackson of DeLand, Florida; grandchildren Tyler (Leah) of Wildwood, Florida, Clay (Mandy) of Eustis, Florida, and Alyssa Jackson of DeLand, Florida; and great grandchildren, Riley, Aubrey, Colbie, Sydney, and Marlie.

The family will receive visitors Friday February 21, 2025 11:00am-12:00pm at Eastside Baptist Church, located: 700 S Massachusetts Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32724. Funeral Services will be held at Eastside Baptist Church, February 21, 2025, 12:00pm with graveside services to follow at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
