Betty "Betsy" McQuoid, 85, of Ormond Beach, passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2015 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center. She was born on June 19, 1930 in O'Fallon, Illinois to Fred and Anna Gill.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday December 30, 2015 in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with a Gathering of Family and Friends being held from 2:00 pm til the Service begins.

Betsy graduated from O'Fallon Township High School in 1948. She traveled the world as an Air Force wife.

Betsy was a member of the First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, Illinois since 1944. She was also a member of the Historical Society in Ormond Beach, the Halifax River Yacht Club and she was active in a variety of civic ventures.

Survivors include her son, Thomas "Buzzy" McQuoid of Holly Hill and her brother, Dr. Donald Gill of Ormond Beach.

She was predeceased by her husband, Colonel Thomas McQuoid; her brothers, Dr. Kenneth Gill and Floyd Oechsle; sisters, Faye Symer and Vera Pees; and her parents, Fred and Anna Gill.
