Betty S Day, 92, passed away peacefully in her home at Seagrass Village of Port Orange FL on Tuesday, July 22 2025. She was born in Daytona Beach FL to William J and Prenttie Singleton on February 18, 1933. Betty worked from an early age with the Southern Bell phone company. After a young retirement she found her true passion in sewing, quilting, and crocheting treasures for family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Bertha Toothaker, Richard Singleton and Shirley West and her loving husbands, Allen B Garrett and Carl Day. She is survived by a host of adored nieces and nephews, the Seagrass Village community, and special companion Richard Yeager.

Graveside services will be held at Daytona Memorial Park, Bellevue Ave on Wednesday, July 30, 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to her beloved Central Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lohman Funeral Home, Daytona.
