Bettie Ann Ilardi 53 of Port Orange FL passed away on Wednesday April 1 2009 surrounded by her loving family due to complications from lung cancer. A Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange Fl 32127 on Saturday April 18 2009 at 2:00 pm .She was born on September 28 1955 in Dover Delaware to Charles and Bettie Joyeusaz. Bettie Ann graduated from Nursing school at Daytona Beach State College in 1994. She loved nursing and after several types of nursing from Dialysis to Cruise ships she found her home as an Occupational Health Nurse at Sea Ray Boats in Palm Coast. She loved fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. Bettie Ann was a loving devoted wife mother grandmother and nurse. "all others came before her" Survivors include her husband Mickey of Port Orange; her three daughters and their families Beckie (Scott) Hurley and their children Madison and Justin of Green Cove Springs; Katie (Allen) Dyer and their children Shelby Desiree Michael and Allen Jr. of Port Orange; Leigh Ann Wheeler and her children Cody Kelly Cory and Coby of Palm Coast. Her mother Bettie Baird of Jacksonville; her father Charles (Debbie) Joyeusaz her brother Charles Joyeusaz Jr.; her sisters Sandy (Bill) Lowery; and Michelle (Mark) Waters all of Jacksonville. Also are her mother in law Evelyn Ilardi of Port Orange; her sister in law Roseanne Ilardi of Port Orange and brother in law Chris (Doreen) Ilardi of Edgewater.
