Bette Feldman Green passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on December 26, 2014. Bette and her husband Donald moved to Palm Coast in the summer of 1984 after living and raising their family in Allentown, Pennsylvania. They quickly became active members of the Palm Coast community through boating and social activities.
Bette had always been a volunteer up north and followed this same path in her new home. She volunteered for many years for Florida Hospital Hospice and assisted the Flagler County sheriff's office by answering the phones. She was a very active member of the Palm Coast Yacht Club including a post as the commodore. An avid reader, Bette also enjoyed a lively social life which included bridge and mahjongg games with friends, boating excursions, and hosting numerous holiday parties.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Bethany, Meredith (Keith), Andrew (Jenifer); six grandchildren, Rachel, Robert, Kevin, Jesse, Gus, Oliver; her husband Ed Caroe and Westies.
Services for Bette will be held at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 4pm. Donations in her memory can be made to The Florida Hospital Hospice in Daytona Beach.
