Bethel J. Fetty age 85 South Daytona passed away on Monday April 15 2013 at Florida Hospital Memorial Center Daytona Beach Florida. Bethel was born in Squib Kentucky where she attended Price Valley School. She later moved to Indianapolis Indiana. She was employed over 30 years as a supervisory lab technician at Western Electric a subsidiary of AT&T. Upon retirement she and her husband Robert E. Fetty relocated to South Daytona Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Florence Burdine; her husband of 58 years Robert E. Fetty; and her two sisters Hazel Harper (Edwin) and Gladys Carlton Adams (Herman). Bethel is survived by her grandson Matthew J. Thomas; her nephews; Gary A Carlton (Margie) Roger D. Harper (Paula) great nephews; Tony Carlton Chris Calton Gary Carlton Jr. and Ryan P. Harper; great niece Robyn Carlton. Bethel was an avid NASCAR race fan and she really enjoyed fishing with her grandson. Bethel was a lifetime member of the Indiana State Police Pioneer Club and will be long remembered for her baking. She will be sorely missed by her friends and neighbors of Big Tree Village.
