Bertha was born in North Andover, MA; daughter of the late Andrew & Emma Lamprey.

She is survived by her step daughter Judith (Martin) and her family. Bertha had 2 sisters and 5 brothers. She leaves grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family moved to NH when she was 16. She graduated from Woodbury High and worked for the telephone Co for 37.5 yrs. She worked as an operator and became a manager.

She met and married Bill Smith, the love of her life. They toured the US and settled in Ormond Beach, FL.

She was an avid golfer and she enjoyed bridge. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She will be buried in Derry, NH.
